Aerosoft Hires Sales and Marketing Professional Bernd Almstedt for Unique Business Development Role

Games industry veteran Bernd Almstedt (505 Games, Activision) will serve as Director Business Development Aviation

Paderborn/Germany, July 16, 2021 | As of July 1, 2021, Bernd Almstedt has joined simulation specialist Aerosoft as Director Business Development Aviation. Almstedt reports to founder and CEO Winfried Diekmann and takes on a newly created position – the goal of Business Development Aviation is to expand the business through international aviation-specific sales channels, such as pilot stores, flight schools, or aviation organizations. 

 

Bernd Almstedt brings 30 years of experience in the games industry to the table and has worked in executive positions in sales, marketing and business development. Most recently he served as  Sales and Marketing Director at 505 Games. Additionally, he has the unique perspective of a trained pilot – he is a volunteer pilot with the Bavarian Air Rescue Squadron.
